With nearly two decades of experience in the pet care industry, Amber began her grooming journey at a pet store and grooming shop the September after graduating high school. Initially working full-time as a Groomer’s Assistant and Pet Store Manager for a year, she continued part-time for two more years while exploring other career options. It was during this time that Amber discovered her passion for pet grooming.

Determined to master her craft, she became a full-time grooming assistant before attending AB Dog Grooming School in Leduc, where she graduated at the top of her class in June 2005. In November of the same year, she joined the Park Veterinary Centre, where her dedication and exceptional grooming skills quickly led her to the role of lead groomer. In this position, Amber honed her leadership abilities and mentored aspiring groomers.

In 2021, after 16 years of dedicated service, Amber transitioned into a hospital leadership role, where she leverages her extensive knowledge of pet care and grooming to enhance operational efficiency and improve the overall client and pet experience. Known for her compassionate approach and commitment to excellence, Amber continues to make a positive impact in the animal care community. You can often find her in the grooming department with her dog Koba or collaborating with the veterinary team to advance the hospital’s goals.
