Dr. Border has always had a love for animals, growing up in southern Alberta surrounded by dogs, cats, and horses. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Calgary while volunteering at a mixed animal veterinary practice. Dr. Border then went on to earn a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree through the joint program between Utah State University and Washington State University.

While she continues to learn as much as possible within the field of veterinary medicine, her special areas of interest include surgery, dentistry, and emergency medicine. Dr. Border moved to Lethbridge right after vet school and spent her 1st year learning she has recently moved to Sherwood Park to start a new adventure. She enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and her Chocolate Lab, Cody. Outside of work, she can be found hiking, painting, or at the archery range.
