Dr Tara L Zachar graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015 as an adult student. She grew up in a small town in Southern Alberta, Pincher Creek, where her mom (practice manager) and dad (veterinarian) owned a vet clinic together. Her dad is still a practicing veterinarian one day a week in the clinic he used to own. Dr. Tara's previous experience includes 7 years in a small animal clinic in Wetaskiwin, Alberta and 3 years being a Locum Veterinarian throughout Central and Southern Alberta, including Park Veterinary Center. 

Her pets include a corn snake and a 7 yr old dog named Mokah.
